How do I connect NodeScope to a mesh network?

Enter a CoreScope analyzer server's address in Settings. NodeScope works with any publicly reachable CoreScope host, including community-run ones like MeshTexas's.

Is my data sent to MeshTexas or BetweenThieves?

No. NodeScope connects directly from your device to whichever analyzer host you configure. Neither MeshTexas nor BetweenThieves operates a backend for NodeScope or receives a copy of your data.

Where are monitored channel keys stored?

Only in your device's Keychain, protected by iOS. They're used to decrypt messages locally and are never transmitted anywhere.

Does NodeScope use my location?

Only to center the map on your position, and only while the app is open. It's never transmitted anywhere.

What data does NodeScope collect?

None. NodeScope has no analytics, tracking, or advertising SDKs. See the Privacy Policy for details.
